If it wasn't for nukes, Japanese people would have invaded China a long time ago for land?

Japan invaded China long before the atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They definitely didn't prevent an invasion if that's what you're asking. Some people argue that they ended WW2, however. Others, such as President Eisenhower believe that the war was practically already over and that the nuclear bombs were unnecessary.
