What's the problem with orange converse?

I have a pair of orange low top orange converse and i wore them with this teal hollister shirt that has orange birds on them. When i wear the orange converse to school everybody says that i have the wrong color and they laugh and they be like she got orange converse and they laugh. I just wanted to know what's wrong with wearing orange converse?
